  • 20 September 2006 - Inquiry launches first report in Scotland.  The report was launched in the Scottish Parliament with Sandra White MSP (chair of the cross-party group on age and ageing) and Adam Ingram MSP (chair of the cross-party group on mental health).

  • 11 July 2006 - Inquiry launches first report in Wales.  The report was launched in the Welsh Assembly Building at Cardiff Bay by John Griffiths AM, the Deputy Minister with responsibility for older people.

The launch of the Inquiry's first report received some press coverage and featured in parliamentary debates across the UK in Summer/Autumn 2006.
